Alison Brady PA-C
Alison has had her own hardships when it comes to health. After many years of searching for answers in the conventional medicine realm, nothing was helping. She saw doctors in every specialty and none of them had the answers she needed, until she found functional medicine. She found that there was a whole world of individualized testing available, that nobody had ever offered. The GI Map PCR test was the first glimpse of clarity after a decade of questions. This experience was nothing short of transformative and quickly became the foundation for Thrive Medical, LLC.

Additionally, the coronavirus pandemic provided a lot of clarity for many of us regarding the shortcomings in American healthcare. Fortunately, this gave us an opportunity to offer something better. True health requires a tank full of the vitamins and minerals that our bodies need and thrive on. It comes from a robust immune system that depends on a healthy gastrointestinal tract. And in a society where up to 80% of us have leaky gut syndrome, we believe that in order to offer true health care, we have to go back to the basics. Nutrition, gut health and immune support are the most basic building blocks to achieving and maintaining true health.
For this reason, Alison is working toward certification in Functional Medicine, which is the branch of medicine that prioritizes the healing of the root causes of our medical disorders. Alison has completed the Applying Functional Medicine into Clinical Practice course with the Institute of Functional medicine and is moving forward with continued coursework for full certification.
